Shanghai's St. Regis Earns Workplace Award
Shanghai's St. Regis Hotel was named one of the "Best Companies to Work For" in a 2005 survey conducted jointly by Watson Wyatt Consultant and Fortune China Magazine.
There were about 100 companies that had participated in this survey and the top 10 best local companies and the top 10 best International companies were selected for the "Best Companies to Work For" award.
The survey covered various criteria related to employee commitment and the enabling factors such as compensation, performance management, and leadership.
"We are very pleased to be recognized as one of the 'Best Companies to Work For' in China. We believe our employees are great assets to the company and one of the crucial factors to our success," said Charles Abbott, General Manager of St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai.
