Company Donates 5% Of Profits To Help Animals In China

Competitive Edge Resumes will be donating 5% of its profits from February 22 through April 30 to the World Society for the Protection of Animals to help in its work in China.
A journey to China by the company's leader Carolyn Cott inspired her to contribute money to a humane organization working in China to prevent cruelty to animals.
While traveling there she witnessed firsthand some of the inhumane treatment of animals, most of which comes from ignorance rather than bad intent. Believing that education is a viable strategy for helping people become more compassionate toward animals, Carolyn researched organizations with efforts in Southeast Asia and was impressed by the diversity of WSPA's programs in China, as well as their effectiveness.
"I'm not a person who can stand by and see animal suffering and do nothing about it. I realized the best contribution I could make at this point is giving money to an organization that is making a difference. By donating a portion of income from my business, Competitive Edge Resumes, I can make at least a small dent in inhumane treatment of animals in China," says Carolyn.
