In a check conducted on children's accessories before International Children's Day, the Beijing Municipal Department of Industry and Commerce now says it identified 118 types of unqualified child-related goods.

These goods include children's clothing, baby carriages and toy guns. Some famous brands, including Bluecat Shoes and Bobgod, have been included on the blacklist because they contain chemical elements that are hazardous to children's health.

Beijing's Zhongyou Department Store and New World Shopping Center have also been listed for selling these goods.

The Department has decided to remove these goods from the Beijing market and fine the sellers up to five times of the price of each banned good.
