Free Labor Arbitration Service For Migrant Workers
Starting this month, migrant workers in Nantong, Jiangsu can get effective protection of their legal rights and interests related to labor disputes even though they might not be able to afford the cost of arbitration.
The Nantong Labor Arbitration Committee has instituted a new measure called "Green Path" and is offering cost-free arbitration services for migrant workers.
The Arbitration Committee says it has already accepted 61 labor dispute cases and helped migrant workers retrieve economic benefits of over RMB800,000.
They say that the free arbitration service can save over RMB150,000 for poor migrant worker groups.
