SACH Will Inspect World Heritage Sites
China's State Administration of Cultural Heritage (SACH) will adopt an inspection system for world cultural heritage sites and publish the results periodically to the public.
Gu Yuncai, director of the cultural heritage protection department of SACH says that as part of the effort, experts will be organized to conduct inspections from time to time so as to learn about the conditions of the sites.
China now has 31 world heritage sites, ranking first in the world.
It is expected the inspection system will be formally started in the second half of this year.
