Chongqing Stops Villa Construction To Protect Forest
Chongqing Municipal Forestry Bureau says that it will take actions to supervise villa and condominium construction that border forests and will stop all illegal construction that may harm the forests' ecosystems.
Police are currently investigating eight villa construction sites, including Banshan Ziyuan Villa, which occupy forest area without proper permission.
Four groups of forest police have been sent to investigate the illegal construction areas and they are expected to complete and announce their findings before June 25.
