Unqualified Home Appliances Recalled In Beijing
The Beijing Municipal Department of Industry and Commerce has published the names of 25 sub-standard home appliances and asked for their immediate recall.
During a quality inspection on home appliance products at twelve wholesale markets, supermarkets and shopping malls across the city, the BMDIC found 21 kinds of heating machines and four kitchen applicances that did not meet their respective quality standards. These products include the Xibeile multi-function food processor and the NIRON water machine.
The main problem for many of these products is that they do not have clear labels or instructions, and some lack all manner of product identification.
The Beijing Chaoyang District Jiangtai Agricultural Trade Market ranks first on the blacklist because it sells seven of the 25 unqualified products.
