Three Wireless Companies Get China Mobile Sanctions
China Mobile has published the names of three new companies that will be punished because of failure to comply with telecom directives.
CDC Corporation's subsidiary Newpalm, Meisi and Hexun are the three companies that have been found to be engaging in improper marketing of their wireless value-added services.
They are asked to cease all their unregulated services, halt adding new services and stop marketing cooperation applications. In addition, they are required to double refund users who have been forced to order their services.
Of the three, Hexun is also asked to stop all WAP services and disband its WAP department.
