Shanghai Adds More Emergency Relief Substations

Shanghai will add 15 first aid substations and 52 new ambulances this year for its emergency relief crews.
After the installation of these new substations, the time spent for dispatching ambulances will be shortened from the current 15 minutes to 13 minutes.
The Shanghai Medical Emergency Center says that three new emergency substations in rural areas have already been put into use, while the other thirteen will be put into operation gradually over the coming months.
In addition, the "120″ command center has also been organized in 10 regional control centers in the city's outskirts including Chongming, Fengxian and Jinshan. Citizens in those areas can now get quicker medical aid by dialing 120.
