Unilever Devotes Funds For Education In China

Unilever has joined hands with the Huangshan local government in Anhui Province to rebuild a Project Hope School.

With a total investment of RMB400,000, this elementary school has been rebuilt on the base of the old one and covers an area of 500 square meters. It has already been formally opened to the students.

Unilever has already supported ten Project Hope Elementary Schools in China and has also launched the project of "Unilever Hope Star" in which excellent students from 200 rural areas can receive tuition fees for their four-year college studies.
