Carrefour Sushi Contains Too Much Bacteria
Last week, the Zhejiang Administration For Industry and Commerce found out that the sushi sold in a Carrefour Hangzhou store was unacceptable because of too much bacteria. Now the same thing has happened at a Carrefour Guangzhou store.
The Carrefour Guangzhou store has removed sushi products from its shelves that have been found to contain mildew 23 times more than the normal level and it promised not to resume the sale of the products for a while.
A representative from Carrefour has told local media that the company is trying to find out the cause and currently have an internal investigation.
