ACFTU Urges Foreign Companies To Establish Labor Unions In China
The All China Federation of Trade Unions says that it will actively push foreign companies, including Kodak, Dell and Foxconn, that have businesses in China to speed up their establishment of labor unions in the country.
Guo Wencai, a minister from ACFTU, says that there are about 90000 foreign companies in China, of which more than 300 have set up a labor unions within their respective companies.
Guo says that they will try to have 60% of the foreign companies set up their trade union in China by the end of this year.
At present, millions of Chinese are working for foreign companies in China, but most of them have not been included in China's Labor Union system.
