Korea-based Ceragem says the sum of its donation to welfare services in China has now exceeded RMB1 million.

Ceragem has twice donated RMB200,000 to build two hospitals in Laixi, Shandong province and Pinggu, Beijing, respectively, through the Red Cross Foundation in China in order to ensure people in underprivileged areas enjoy better medical treatment.

Ceragem says it also pays close attention to education. It has donated RMB300,000 to a Project Hope School in Dayang village in Shandong for the renovation of school houses and facilities. The new school will provide an education to more than 500 children.

Zhang Daogen, general manager of Ceragem, says that the company has a firm market foundation in Korea and has developed in more than 50 countries and regions including America, Canada and Australia. The company entered China in 2001 with the production and sale of its "Thermal Massagers".
