Shanghai's St. Regis Hotel will continue its partnership with Pudong Special Needs School for an annual charity workshop and exhibition.

This year's project theme will be "The Spirit of Special Olympics" and is inspired by the upcoming Special Olympic Games 2007. The students unique etching pieces will be on display at the St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai from December 9 to 31, 2006. All the proceeds will go to Pudong Special Needs School.

16 deaf-and-mute students joined the project that ran from September until the end of October. This project consists of an introductory session and four workshops led by a professional artist.

"We are delighted to have Zhang Xu Bo to participate in this meaningful project and provide opportunities to these underprivileged students to learn different forms of art. In the workshops, we have found their unimaginable creativity to be expressed. Our staff are very enthusiastic in participating the workshops and working with the community,” said Charles Abbott, General Manager of St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai.
