Business for Social Responsibility has appointed former Nike executive Jeremy Prepscius as Asia Director to help the organization expand its presence and activities in the region.
"Jeremy is a wonderful addition to our already strong team in the region. Attention to CSR in China and elsewhere in Asia is accelerating rapidly, and we continue to look for ways to develop local expertise to support innovative approaches in the region," BSR President and CEO Aron Cramer said in a press release.
Prepscius spent ten years at Nike, where he served most recently as a member of the company's Corporate Responsibility Strategic Planning team. He worked with the company in Guangzhou and Ho Chi Minh City.
BSR will open its new Hong Kong office in January 2007 and Prepscius will work from that office to coordinate activities throughout the region.
