Intellectual Property Report Centers Complete Construction
China's Ministry of Commerce announced the completion of construction of 50 Intellectual Property Reporting and Service Centers spread over 31 provinces and regions.
In order to strengthen the protection of intellectual property in China, the State Council has required the building of these service centers in 50 cities across China.
Now that the construction of these report centers has been completed, a unified reporting telephone hotline has also been created at 12312 and the online reporting platform is locacted at www.ipr.gov.cn.
At the centers, consumers and companies can lodge complaints about counterfeit goods, bootleg commodities, and fake materials. The centers will also provide educational materials to their localities so that consumers and corporations can better protect themselves.
