Seven Shanxi Officials Deposed For Coal Mine Accidents
Shanxi Linfen Municipal Government has passed a resolution to depose seven officials as a result of the recent explosion accident in Yujialing coal mine.
The seven officials up for dismissal are Fan Kejian, vice warden of Yaodu District; Zhao Chenghe, director of Yaodu District Coal Department; Cui Junyu, deputy director of Yaodu District Coal Department; Yin Shuangfeng, secretary general of Yipingyuan Town of Yaodu District; Ren Weimin, vice secretary general and governor of Yipingyuan Town of Yaodu District; and Yan Liuping, vice governor of Yipingyuan and director of the safety supervision station.
Yujialing coal mine accident occurred on March 28 and caused 26 deaths. It was found out that all the six licenses of the coal mine expired before the accident occurred.
