The Beijing Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce says it discovered four shopping sites in Beijing were selling possible dangerous children's clothing during a quality inspection.

The four sites are Yansha Youyi Shopping City, Carrefour Zhongguancun, Zhongyou Department Store and Grand Pacific Department Store.

Of those, Yansha Youyi Shopping City sold a knit casual dress with the brand of "Fa Mi Ni" which was reportedly using Azocolourants List of azodyes, an aromatic compound of dye that has been banned for possibly causing cancer. Carrefour was selling a jacket branded with "Shuang Chi", whose pH exceeded the standard.

BMAIC says it confiscated the goods and is conducting further investigations to determine any penalties.
