Safe Kids Week educated parents and children about preventing accidental injuries through a series of indoor and outdoor child safety activities, including on-site doctor consultations and interactive safety games. Programs focused on fall-related injuries, the third leading cause of accidental injury deaths in the country and the number one cause of nonfatal injuries among urban children.
