Bayer Extends ISO 9001 Certification In Shanghai
Bayer Technology Services' outlet in Shanghai has been awarded the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate by TÜV Rheinland.
Bayer's German sites in Leverkusen, Dormagen, Wuppertal-Elberfeld and Krefeld-Uerdingen also received the certification.
During a 5-day audit, TÜV Rheinland reviewed the quality capability of the major BTS business process and examined BTS's leadership, administration and management processes. The auditors spoke with nearly 20 managerial employees from all levels of management, including BTS Managing Director Achim Noack. The TÜV audit report attests to BTS the quality capability of its processes and the performance of the HSEQ system.
"We constantly need the certificate to document our quality to our customers, of course, but it's even more important that we master our processes and continuously improve," said Dr. Edwin Roth, Head of HSEQ Management at BTS. "The entire BTS management team supports this awareness. After all, quality and professionalism are major elements of our corporate culture."
Roth added that international harmonization of the most important processes and the consistent elimination of a few remaining weaknesses will be the focus of the next phase of work.
