Ashland China Donates RMB50,000 To Shanghai School
Global chemical company Ashland has announced a RMB50,000 donation to Minhang Qizhi Special School in Shanghai to renovate the student library for the school and provide new reading materials for the students.
"We are very pleased to make this donation to help a school that is focused on improving the lives of special needs children through better education," said Dale MacDonald, president of Ashland China.
The school has 120 students currently enrolled and with this donation Ashland becomes a member of the Love Alliance organization of Minhang Qizhi Special School.

Christophe Lajus, the general manager of Crowne Plaza Fudan Shanghai, and members of the hotel management team visited Yangpu Social Welfare Institution to celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival together with the senior citizens resident there. A gift of homemade mooncakes was presented to the senior citizens on behalf of the hotel.
