Care For Children Presents Village Fete In Beijing
Care for Children will be holding an open day for their new center on October 27.
The opening day festivities will be in the form of an English Village Fete. It will be a great day out for all the family with a barbeque, fish and chips, bouncy castle, shadow puppet show and lots of side stalls and entertainment. The event is supported by IMI, Dulwich College, Shangri-la Hotels & Resorts and Northern Trust.
IMI's Carol Xu said, "The reason we support Care for Children is because we take very seriously our responsibilities to the local communities in which we operate. China is an increasingly important country for us. We are proud to help Care for Children to make that difference. Our Chinese employees are also extremely proud to work for a global company that is responsible and proactive in giving back to communities in China."
The new center will incorporate a special school and clinic for children with special needs. After ten years of working to improve the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children across China, the new center will enable Care for Children's work to develop further in new and exciting ways, providing assistance to some of the most vulnerable members of Chinese society.
