ICBC Releases 2007 CSR Report
In accordance with the requirement of Chinese Banking Regulatory Department, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, one of the four major national banks in China, has publicly released its Social Responsibility Report 2007.
ICBC's CSR Report 2007 consists of seven parts, which includes an outline for its economic transformation, a value bank, a green bank, a care bank, a harmonious bank, a credit bank and a brand bank. Basically any type of positive adjective has been affixed to a type of banking service.
This is the first time that ICBC has compiled and released a social responsibility report.

Qatar Airways will fund two schools to educate children affected by the recent earthquake in Sichuan province. At a signing ceremony held at the offices of China Youth Development Foundation in Beijing, Qatar Airways formally committed an undisclosed amount of funds towards the project.
