NDRC Signs Energy-saving And Emission Reduction Agreement With Hitachi
China's National Development and Reform Commission has signed a two-year agreement with Japan-based Hitachi on the implementation of a small and medium enterprise energy-saving and emission reduction demonstration program.
According to the agreement, NDRC and Hitachi China will jointly set up a project work team consisted of NDRC's Small and Medium Enterprise External Cooperation Coordination Center, Hitachi China, concerned government departments and service organizations of cities designated by NDRC for the pilot program. There is no information yet on which cities will first be part of this initiative.
Under the agreement, small and medium enterprises of the pilot cities will make use of Hitachi's environmental protection technology, products and solutions to help them reach the goal of energy saving and carbon dioxide emissions reduction.
