Chinese Internet Users Decry Animal Torture
Chinese netizens are furious over "crushing" websites that depict the torture of animals.
Local media report that one website located at crushworld.net was closed after angry messages were sent to the webmasters. A phone number used to register that website places it in Xiamen, in southern China.
On these websites, users can download videos that depict the torture and killing of small animals, often cats. In one video, a woman is seen cradling a kitten, placing it on the ground, and then poking her shoe's heel through the kitten's eye.
A representative from the International Fund for Animal Welfare in Beijing says that people who would harm animals might have the capacity to also harm humans.
An online forum at Sina.com is filled with users' remarks demanding an end to the disturbing videos.

Animals have rights just the same as people, do they not?I really truly wish that you chinese people get it through your big fat airheads that if you cant treat animals for their dignity, then you have no right to have pride with yourself whatsoever.

People who hurt animals are heartless fools and in my opinion whom ever can intentionally hurt an animal is sick in their head and deserve the same treatment back to them!
Animals cant tell you how it feels! and if they could, what would they say? would you change then? as far as im concerned to own an animal you need to be able to feed love and give it a good life and be it's friend because animals have feelings just the same as you do!
