Tianjin's local government is overhauling its recycling program to increase efficiency.
A special task force has been formed by the local government to rectify certain areas within Tianjin's current recycling services.
In the next three to five years, over 90% of the staff specializing in recycling will be included in a unified management system and a standard recycling site will be set up at 90% of the communities across the city.
Tianjin will also regulate and integrate the existing recycling collection network into the suburbs' current systems.
