Datong Airport Management Company says that from August 25 to September 15, it will donate free air tickets for Datong residents who are leaving the city to go away to university.
Datong Airport is providing the tickets on flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The Datong Municipal government and government agencies say that those students who are matriculating in the three distant cities can request their tickets a week in advance of leaving for school.
These students can also have luggage up to 40 kilograms delivered for free, and the students only need to pay the fuel surcharge and airport construction fee for the tickets.
