THe only thing that could be done is a drain pan fitted under neath the unit and this water go away to a drain somewhere. With the cold weather here now I switched on the heater to find that water kept flowing out of the Aircon and falling onto our neighbours patio, obviously they complained a lot(WE live on the 16th floor). We now have to turn off the Aircon during this very cold weather, the reason we bought it in the first place. When we approached LG, after two visits, both the engineer and LG Customer Support say that this escape of water during cold periods is normal and there was nothing they can do about it. I told them if I had been told that, I would not have bought their Aircon. Do you know where I can complain to? I am British and speak o Chinese.
