Seven experts from the State Environmental Protection Administration of China have signed an endorsement to accredit Huangshan scenic spot as an ISO14000 National Demonstrated Area.

Huangshan Scenic Spot has reached all these standards with its high-quality water, air and low pollution index (lower than 50 all year round).
From 2004, Huangshan Scenic Spot started to adopt environmental protection measures. They use 10% of their income from the door tickets to protect the environment.
