Shanda, Netease, Sina, Microsoft, Kingsoft and Sunchime have formed the Chinese Enterprise Copyright Alliance, a free and non-governmental union whose mission is to act as an example and guide for more enterprises to pay attention to the nation's economic development, undertake relevant social responsibilities and jointly push the development of copyright related industries and make contributions to China's economic development.
The six companies have proposed a plan to abide by relevant domestic and international regulations like the "World Copyright Convention" and "Information Network Transmission and Protection Rule" and to form the alliance based on equality.
