The International Finance Corporation Private Enterprises Partnership for China (IFC PEP-China) is seeking to recruit an Associate Operations Officer (AOO) to support its Linkages Project in China.
The position will be a local position based in Beijing and will report to the Program Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility. The AOO will work closely with Program Manager and the CSR team to take the following responsibilities:
Duties and Accountabilities:
– Identify and develop business opportunities for the linkages program;
– Manage the linkages projects through initial screening, scoping, designing, contracting, implementation and monitoring;
– Manage client relationship for the linkages program;
– Provide professional support to the linkages clients from industrial, supply chain management and/or community development perspectives;
– identify and supervise consultants, include drafting of TOR, negotiation of fees, contract issuance and management;
– Prepare the PEP-China project documents including report writing and financial analysis;
– Coordinate closely with IFC’s Beijing office and SME department to build synergies across various activities;
– Accept ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Program Manager;
Selection Criteria:
– Minimum 3 years experience;
– Honor or master degree in Management, Economics or Business Studies or equivalent professional qualification;
– Working experience on supply chain management and/or community development in the agriculture sector; private business or consulting, ideally in agri-business or supply chain management
Competencies:
– Strong experience of project management in a business environment;
– Good business sense and problem solving abilities, negotiating skills, judgment and inter-personal skills;
– Quick learning capabilities;
– Excellent Mandarin and English written and verbal communications skills;
– Highly dynamic and motivated.
