In order to ensure a fair, open, regulated and orderly student enrollment at the institutions of higher learning for the coming September semester, China's Ministry of Education has begun to make arrangements for college student enrollment.
The Ministry of Education has reportedly asked its affiliates at various levels to completely implement the Sunshine Project, a basic principle that the educational departments should adopt during recruitment of students for colleges and universities. Schools are also urged to provide timely and accurate information on enrollment policies, status and results to the public. The Ministry asks educational departments at various levels to ensure the safety of online data and recruitment and to aggressively carry out the student recruitment plan and standard.
The Ministry says educational departments shall strengthen their efforts in cracking down of illegal enrollment or enrollment activities through illegal agents to prevent any kind of fraud from occurring.
Educational departments at various levels are also asked to adjust the measures to their local conditions and make sure the enrollment policies and result are delivered to each examinee via various channels.
