China's National Development and Reform Commission has asked the pricing departments at various levels around the nation to regulate the oil market and punish those oil operators who raise oil prices.
In the meantime, NDRC has exposed six gas stations that have broken the national policy by raising the oil prices on their own. The six parties are reportedly Sichuan Chengdu Shyang Gas Station, Guizhou Wen'an Nantian Gas Station, Hebei Zhangjiakou Zhangbei County Changkong Gas Center, Ningxiao Hui Autonomous Region Yinchuan Yingu Petroleum Company Gas Station, Shaanxi Xi'an Yanta District Jinyuan Gas Station and Hunan Miluo County Mixin Gas Station.
A representative from NDRC says that these gas stations have seriously infringed the country's policies on oil prices, disturbed the normal market order, and enlarged the shortage of oil. The local pricing departments have punished these parties and the purpose of exposing them is to warn other oil operators to abide by the relevant laws.
