China Mobile Offers Free Telephone Service For Earthquake Victims

China Mobile's Sichuan branch has begun to open sites in areas with dense populations in Sichuan Province so that people affected by the earthquake can keep in touch with their families and friends around the nation.
By May 14, Sichuan Mobile had set up more than 2100 such sites to provide free telephone service, free mobile phone battery charging and free drinking water.
At these sites, Sichuan Mobile provides free telephone service for people to report their current situation to their families and friends. The company also offers service station for people to charge their mobile phones and distribute free medicines to them.
A representative from Sichuan Mobile says that they will offer the free telephone service for the citizens until the relief work is done.
