China Mobile Establishes Employee Volunteer Association

On June 2, the first corporate employee volunteer association of China's communications industry was founded in Beijing, aiming at supporting employee volunteer activities by virtue of the strength of corporations.
On that day, hundreds of employee volunteers from China Mobile took an oath during the inauguration ceremony, and honored the victims of the recent earthquake. After its establishment, the association will collect suggestions on volunteer work of supporting the reconstruction work of the quake area.
China Mobile said facilitating and supporting employee volunteers on public service is one of the five projects of corporate social responsibility construction of China Mobile in 2008 and it will further offer policy support and system guarantee for volunteers.
