China Textile Industry Association released "Outline of China Textile & Garment Enterprises CSR Report" and "China Textile & Garment Enterprises CSR Annual Report 2007" at the press conference held recently in Beijing.
The Outline is based on CSC9000T (China Social Compliance 9000 for Textile & Apparel Industry) and relevant policies and regulations, offering companies that intend to release CSR reports with a detailed guide. The Outline is an index system with 201 indices concerning production, operation, management and interests of stakeholders, and also including the first index and standard system about social responsibility report.
The Annual Report 2007 is the second one released by China Textile Industry Association. It has not only made breakthroughs in publishing format, comprehensiveness of the content and amount of information, but has solicited the various stakeholders for suggestions during the preparation.
Deputies from Beijing Topnew Group, Shandong Ruyi Group and Xuri Group attended the press conference and made speeches, saying that they will prepare their own CSR reports according to the Outline.
