Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobiles has donated CNY500,000 to the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation for an initiative called New Great Wall which aims to encourage urban youth to raise funds for poor students in earthquake-stricken areas.
CFPA's New Great Wall project would go to poverty-stricken areas each July to seek out and help students there. For 2008, CFPA is going to quake areas where many students need help from society.
DPCA has been cooperating with CFPA since 2005 with annual donations of CNY500,000. Its employees are also involved in the activity to help poor college students.
