China P&T Appliances has released its first corporate social responsibility report — one of the first in China's communication and distribution industry.
The report shows the efforts PTAC has made from 2005 to 2007 in eight areas including energy conservation and environmental protection. PTAC has also made a commitment for future CSR, saying it will undertake responsibilities to stakeholders, the environment, and society while focusing on economic benefits.
PTAC is a member of the Green Box Environmental Protection Plan to recycle cell phones, batteries and accessories in its retail stores.
