The Sanya Luneng 2008 student aid project commenced on July 29, 2008 in Chengmai County of Hainan.
The project aims at raising funds from society to help poor students who are admitted to colleges without enough money.
It is the third year since the student aid project was first launched, and many students have entered the colleges and universities they have been dreaming of with the help of the society.
Sanya Luneng, the property department of Shandong Luneng Group, is the sole sponsor of this project. The company has made donations to the Sanya Foundation for Disabled Persons, the Red Cross, Project Hope, and other public welfare organizations.
