Luoyang Float Glass Group Releases First CSR Report

The China Luoyang Float Glass Group has held a press conference for the release of its corporate social responsibility report, which is also the first one in Luoyang, Henan Province.
The company, a subsidiary of the China National Building Material Group, is one of China's most important float glass manufacturing and glass processing bases. Over 80% of China's float glass production lines are adopting the Luoyang Float Glass Technology – one of the world's three major float glass technologies.
The company aims to be an international comprehensive service provider of float glass. At the end of 2007, it established CLFG (Beijing) International Engineering to expand the international market for Luoyang Float Glass Technology.
According to the company's development plan for 2008 to 2012, be it will introduce advanced technologies and equipment to lower energy consumption and reduce emissions.
Zhu Leibo, the board chairman and general manager of Luoyang Float Glass Group, stated at the press conference that the company would further improve its social responsibility management system and index system, focus on resource conservation, environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction, and it would aim to achieve more in the future.
