Phoenix Contact China released its first corporate social responsibility report at its recent 15th anniversary celebration ceremony.
The report elaborated the achievements Phoenix Contact China has made in the 15 years since it entered China for the economy, in innovation, for its employees, for society, and for the environment.
As the Chinese subsidiary of the German Phoenix Contact, it claims to be one the most successful German-funded enterprises in China. Currently the company has more than 1,000 employees, with annual sales of CNY1 billion, bringing in more than USD39 million foreign investment and creating more than 1,000 jobs in China.
Phoenix Contact China joined the United Nations Global Compact in January 2007. Its CSR report states that it has been active in education, training, medical care, employee volunteer, disaster relief, environmental protection, and public welfare for many years.
