Hunan Yongzhou Xiangqi Hydropower Station Project Gains Approval

Huaneng Power International's Hunan Yongzhou Xiangqi Hydropower Station Project has been approved by the Development and Reform Commission in Hunan.
The planned installed capacity to be constructed will be 80 MW, consisting of four hydraulic generators each with 20 MW. The total investment amount of the project is estimated to be approximately CNY890 million, of which 30% is equity capital to be funded by internal funds of the company. The remaining investment will be funded by bank loans.
Huaneng Power International has a total generation capacity of 37,593MW on an equity basis and a controlling installed generation capacity of 40,989MW. The company wholly owns sixteen operating power plants, an operating power company, and has controlling interests in thirteen operating power companies and minority interests in five operating power companies. Currently, it is one of the largest listed power producers in China.
Huaneng Power is the project legal entity of the Hunan Yongzhou Xiangqi Hydropower Station Project.
