A group of people claiming to be Sony Ericsson marketing staff gathered at the headquarters of Sony Ericsson in Wangjing, Beijing, asking for compensation for termination of their labor contracts.

These people are reported to have signed labor contracts with Sichuan Yongyang Advertising Company, a marketing service provider for Sony Ericsson, but they come to Sony Ericsson to claim for compensation after they were told their labor contract would be terminated, sine they considered themselves employees of Sony Ericsson.

It is reported that these people include pregnant women and people who have worked for the company for over ten years.

A manager from SYAC stated that these people are employees of SYAC and have nothing to do with Sony Ericsson. So it is unreasonable for them to ask for compensation from Sony Ericsson.

Sony Ericsson announced that it has purchased marketing services from a third party, and says that these people, most of whom are salespeople, belong to the third party. However, Sony Ericsson is reported to be pressing for a solution to the problem.
