CNNC's report summarizes the company's social responsibility ideas and activities in the ten years between 1999 and 2008 by means of cases, diagrams, and pictures. It shows that in the past decade, CNNC has improved in the areas of safety, the environment, and quality; and it has worked to promote the sustainable development of an ecological environment.

It says that while it was actively advancing the development of nuclear energy, CNNC was also making efforts to lower energy consumption. And it increased its resource and energy efficiency through technology innovation and the transformation of production techniques. In addition, it attempted to lower energy consumption by adjusting rules and regulations and optimizing production.
