Philip Chan, general manager of Howard Johnson Caida Plaza Shanghai, and Carrie Fu, the hotel deputy general manager, presented gifts and a box of homemade cookies to students of the Sunshine Organization in Shanghai's Wujiaochang. Since the hotel opened, it has taken a particular interest in helping the mentally handicapped in the local community.
