Chongqing Ziqiang Travel, which is said to be the first travel service provider for the disabled in Chongqing, has been opened in the city's Nan'an District.
Chen Jiayu, vice chair of Chongqing Disabled Persons Association, said that there are about 1.69 million disabled people, and millions of senior citizens who have mobility problems, in Chongqing. For these people, the beautiful scenery of Chongqing is something that they can only see from TV programs. CZTC, which was initiated by five disabled people, all of whom are over 50 years old, aims to show this group of people to Chongqing's beautiful night views and suburban landscapes.
It is understood that the company will increase their investment to CNY30 million within the year and launch a range of travel products for the disabled and for senior citizens. Each of the travel products will be priced at about CNY400.
