China's First Provincial Anti-corruption Center Set Up In Gansu

Gansu Provincial Corruption Prevention Bureau, the first of its kind in China, has been formally opened in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province in western China.
According to Xu Shousheng, the governor of Gansu province, the newly-established GPCPB will be responsible for the coordination, comprehensive planning, policy making, and inspection and guidance for the province's anti-corruption work.
It is understood that the establishment of GPCPB is not only a result of Gansu's anti-corruption initiative, but also a major measure taken by the province in strengthening its anti-corruption efforts, and it will play an important role in the construction of the province's anti-corruption system.
