Grand China Air Organizes Lectures Promoting Arts And Culture

Grand China Air, a Chinese airline, is holding lectures on opera appreciation as part of its sponsorship of Opera Festival 2009 organized by the National Center for the Performing Arts.
It is reported that a total of ten lectures will be held across the country, with three in Beijing, and seven in Hainan, Shanghai, Xi'an and Changchun. These lectures will run until late June, 2009.
Speaking of their intention to sponsoring the event, a representative from the airline said that the opera festival is an event to help them improve their staff's culture and understanding, which will ultimately help in the providing of high quality service to passengers.
In addition, the representative said that it is also the social responsibility of the airline to spread culture and bring elegant arts to everybody and play its due role in the construction of a civilized and harmonious society.
