According to the newly issued Medical Quality Control Center Management Rule, a medical quality control center will be set up in each Chinese province to supervise and manage the service quality of the local hospitals.
These medical quality control centers are reported to be a special organization designated by the Ministry of Health or provincial health department to management and control the medical quality of hospitals. Provinces with the right conditions are also asked to build a quality control network or a provincial quality control center for each specified category of medicines.
In addition, China's Ministry of Health will set up a national medical quality management and control center.
