Tetra Pak China has published its corporate social responsibility report for 2009.
Written in five parts — history in greater China; client, industry, and community, environment, nature, and sustainability, charity, human base, and beliefs; and Tetra Pak-Tatra Pak employees — the 2009 Tetra Pak China CSR Report details Tetra Pak's development in China over the last three decades as well as its fulfillment of environmental responsibility, charity, company vision, and value in that period.
The report is a display of Tetra Pak China's corporate social responsibility concept and achievements following the environmental report the company released in 2007. Li Hexun, the president of Tetra Pak China, stated that Tetra Pak has attached great importance to its harmonious co-existence with the environment while developing its business and it has been working hard with its clients to jointly promote the sustainable development of the industry. Li said that they hope to share their CSR experience with the public with this report and continue to coordinate with all parties concerned to make contributions to the harmonious and sustainable development of the Chinese society.
Since it entered China in 1979, Tetra Pak states that it has been committed to offering first class products and service to Chinese consumers, under the four guidelines of "Renewing, Reducing, Recycling, and Responsibility" to realize sustainable development.
